The recipe for the Espresso Martini

The Espresso Martini recipe was created by Dick Bradsel in one of London's bars in the 1980s. Legend has it that a model, rumoured to be a young Naomi Campbell, asked for ‘something to wake me up and then knock me out,’ and thus the Espresso Martini was born.

Ingredients:

- 50ml vodka.

- 20ml Cold Brew liqueur

- 10ml simple syrup

- 1 shot of espresso (if not available, use cold brew)

- 1 teaspoon of vermouth. We recommend Punt e Mes

Preparation:

1. Shake all ingredients together with ice

2. Insert a double straw and slowly pour into a chilled tall martini glass (removing the ice)

3. Garnish with coffee beans
